We have been shipping flooring and flooring related materials throughout the United States and Canada for decades. We use only the most respected shipping companies in the country. We can also export your flooring to other countries upon request. We offer the most competitive freight rates by using multiple carriers to get you the absolute best shipping rate. 

How your order is delivered

We use some of the most well respected and largest carriers in the industry. All our flooring orders are shipped as freight known as “LTL”—Less Than Truckload quantities. The rate of claims or damaged material is less than 1% when shipped this way. By using multiple shipping carriers we are able to get you the absolute lowest freight rate on your order. There are certain terms that you need to be aware of when dealing with these companies. Below you will find some of these terms and conditions.

You have the choice of having your order delivered to your home, a business, or you can pick it up at a freight terminal in your area. The charges for having the order sent to a business or delivered to a freight terminal is slightly less than having it delivered to a home. If you choose to have your order shipped to a freight terminal location we will make sure you are aware of the terminals location AFTER you make a purchase.

Someone must be present at the delivery location to help unload the order. Deliveries are “curb side”. The driver’s will not bring the material inside your home. If you are handicapped or have no way of assisting the driver, please call our office and we will arrange to have the material unloaded for you for an extra charge. There is also a “white glove” type service available for an additional fee. If you have any questions regarding the types of delivery or special services offered please call your flooring consultant and we will explain these options to you.

In most instances the freight carrier will contact you prior to the delivery. We will send you an e-mail listing the terminal phone number and a tracking number. If you have not heard from the freight carrier by the time you have received this e-mail, we suggest that you contact them to confirm the delivery date and time. The freight company will usually give you the date of delivery, and a time window with a 2-6 hour time span.

Whoever is accepting the delivery must inspect it and sign for the order according to the “Delivery Checklist” we send you. If you are not going to be the one accepting the order, you have to make sure that the person signing the order follows these directions. You cannot sign the paperwork and let the driver leave until the order has been thoroughly inspected. If there is any damaged material, it must be noted on the paperwork in order for us to issue replacement material to you and for us to be properly reimbursed by the trucking company. We are referring to damage by the trucking company, not manufacturer defects. If there are any damaged materials, we will immediately reship you a replacement for this material, as long as it was noted in the paperwork.

Delivery Time

Orders generally take 24 to 48 hours to process after being placed. After the order is processed, our chosen freight carrier will pick it up. The order should then take 7 to 10 business days to be shipped to your location. We usually tell customers to figure 1-1/2 weeks from the order date. The total lead-time may vary slightly based on the time of year. Certain seasons are much busier than others.

This estimated time applies to the contiguous 48 United States. Delivery time may be longer to Alaska, Hawaii, Canada and anywhere outside the United States. If part of the order or the entire order is not in stock, we will immediately notify you and advise you of your options.

General Notes

Most orders shipped via common carrier (trucking lines). We cannot send any box material via UPS, Fedex etc.
